FORTUNA FAVET FORTIBUS Fortune Favors The Bold
Clan Silent Dragon was built upon the foundation of good sportsmanship and honorable combat. Everyone who wears the SD uniform is responsible for protecting this foundation to secure the clan's reputation and honor in any and all gaming communities. This responsibility cannot and will not be taken lightly by any member.
The following honor codes applies to all members of any faction and/or rank. Failure to comply with these honor codes can result in demotion, suspensions, removal of bloodname, or banishment.
THE GOLDEN RULES
1.) LOYALTY: Clan-hopping is not welcome. Each member's admittance will be taken as seriously as their resignation. Even though we'd prefer each member's attention to be focused on SD affairs, joining other clans and guilds will be allowed as long as there are no conflicts will any SD responsibilities AND SD has no conflicts of interest within that particular gaming community. Recruiting SD members or players on any SD game server and chatroom for other clans and guilds is strictly prohibited. Poaching is the highest form of disloyalty and will be dealt with accordingly.
2.) RESPECT: All members are expected to treat fellow clansmen as well as members from allied clans with the upmost respect and courtesy. Trash-talking, racism, name-calling, and insults within the clan will not be tolerated. Granted, this type of behavior is commonplace for many gaming communities. Nevertheless, SD will set a new conduct standard by not participating in this type of behavior. Respect will only promote unity within the clan and alliances within the communities.
3.) COMPETITIVENESS: SD has a long history of victory on the battlefield. Its every member's responsibility to ensure this tradition continues by striving to be the best warrior he/she can possibly be, not just individually but also as a team. Commanding officers do have the option of suspending members from league competition if they feel these members are not meeting clan standards. All members are require to attend all scheduled practices and scrimmages to prepare for league competition. No one in SD uniform should ever allow the clan to have a reputation of being easy targets.
4.) FUN: Everyone needs to remember that the ultimate goal of any game is to have fun. Keeping the gaming experience enjoyable for everyone involved secures the future of the clan and the gaming community. If you're not having fun, you're doing something wrong.
5.) CHEATING: Cheating of any kind is strictly forbidden for anyone wearing the SD uniform. Cheating is defined as, but not limited to, anyone using outside programs and graphics (sprites, skins, models, etc.) or in-game bugs, exploits, and glitches that give a player an unfair advantage over his/her opponent. Anti-cheat and voicechat programs are allowed as long as the leagues approve their usage. Cheating is a serious offense and will be handled by team leaders on a per-case basis.
